Jean Dubost : sustainable developpement in kitchen knives and flatware!

Jean Dubost : sustainable developpement in kitchen knives and flatware!

In Summer, tables are laid with minimalist and slight mood, natural raw materials take a wonderful place. The wood is therefore in the spotlight: olive, violet, juniper, walnut ... or even the oak wood that inspires warmth and tradition!
Jean Dubost was awarded PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification in 2009. The wood selected by Jean Dubost for our oak handles comes from trees which originate from sustainable forest management programs. These programs undertake, amongst other things, to plant more trees than they cut down. Each handle for our flatware and kitchen knives is PEFC-labelled.

The PEFC label provide a guarantee to the consumer that the product that they are buying originates from responsible resources and that this purchase means that they are participating in sustainable forest management.
