In 1920, Pierre Dubost,
manufacturer of the famous
Laguiole knife,
began production in a small workshop. It was developed under Jean Dubost’s inspiration, the founder’s son, whose name signs the famous ranges of flatware and kitchenware.
The Laguiole is made in the area for over 200 years. Initially, folding pocket knife, the Laguiole became popular in the late 20th century.
Its stainless steel blade of superior quality, is cut, polished and sharpened through 25 different stages.
